The state party chief says its main objective is to win as many seats as possible.

PETALING JAYA: Sabah PKR will not vie for the chief minister’s post and will back a candidate from either of its electoral allies after the state election, state party chief Mustapha Sakmud said.

He said PKR’s main objective is to win as many seats as possible to strengthen the state government.

“Our objective is to ensure we have a stable state government. Which is why PKR is contesting 10 seats, while DAP will be vying for seven seats, and Amanah eying one seat,” he said in an interview with FMT.
