Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim says he received a call from Anutin Charnvirakul yesterday morning to reassure him of the Thai government’s stance on the matter.

NAIROBI: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim says he has his Thai counterpart Anutin Charnvirakul’s support following allegations of Malaysia meddling in Thailand’s handling of its dispute with Cambodia.

Anwar said he received a call from Anutin yesterday morning to reassure him of the Thai government’s stance on the matter.

“He told me that as far as they are concerned, they know our role in facilitating this (peace between Thailand and Cambodia),” he told reporters here.
