PETALING JAYA: A disruption in water supply will affect more than 5,000 consumer accounts in Butterworth, Penang, on Tuesday and 2,500 consumer accounts in Balik Pulau on Wednesday, the Penang Water Supply Corporation said.
The disruption on Tuesday, from 10am to 3pm, affects the outer ring road area and residents of Taman Perkasa, Taman Meranti, Bagan Lebai Tahir, Pantai Bersih, Royal Malaysian Air Force Butterworth, Taman Ratna, Pantai Robina, Jalan Teluk Air Tawar, Taman Senangan, Taman Seri Tawar, and Taman Telok Permai.
The disruption in Balik Pulau will last from 10pm on Wednesday until 6am on Thursday and will affect Jalan Pondok Upeh, the two Mara colleges, Lorong Seri Genting 1–14, the Pondok Upeh area, and Taman Simpang Jaya.
